  This review is for Sandra Thompson. Do not work with Sandra. She had ONE job, which was to get our signed documents to the county to record today. She utterly and unbelievably FAILED to record on time, and now closing is delayed. How could this happen, you ask? She failed to get the documents from the SF office to Burlingame in time to meet the county deadline. Yes, she screwed up the easiest last leg of the race. This has led to us to lose a $300 deposit on a termite fumigation, and has caused a tremendous amount of disappointment on what should've been one of the most exciting days of our lives. The only good thing about First American is that they don't charge junk fees unlike Fidelity and Old Republic. Don't use Sandra. ***UPDATE*** I escalated to the branch manager, Amy Darius, and she helped get the papers to county on time to close. It was still an unnecessary stressful experience. It's very important to choose a reliable title agent who is customer centric and available. Whenever I call Sandra, I get her voicemail.
